Our model

A shared mission.
A disciplined
approach.

One coordinated delivery framework.
Different sites. Different partners.

MicroLiving orchestrates execution by bringing development planning, construction partners, project oversight, and quality-gated payments into the same model.

How we build

The right partners.
The right checkpoints.

The framework is not limited to Embrace Your Shine. MicroLiving can coordinate delivery for other mission-driven organizations, with roles established for each project.

01

Partnership
with purpose.

Align the landowner, capital partners, execution team, and community organizations around a defined project goal.

Clear roles. Shared direction.
02

Built around
the right team.

An asset-light model brings the appropriate design, construction, and delivery partners together. The campus materials identify Custom Container Living as a proposed housing delivery partner.

Coordinated, not one-size-fits-all.
03

Quality first.
Then the next step.

A go/no-go payment structure connects the release of payments to verification by the Quality Control Officer.

Verified work before payment release.

One integrated delivery platform

Seven disciplines.
One coordinated partner.

  • Development expertise
  • Productized home designs
  • Agile construction
  • Quality-control gated delivery
  • Strategic financing alignment
  • Community partnerships
  • Workforce & nonprofit integration

The go / no-go structure

Verify the work.
Then release payment.

Payment decisions follow the agreed quality gate. When a milestone is not verified, the associated payment does not move forward.

01

Milestone work
is ready for review.

The project team brings the completed work to its quality checkpoint.

02

Quality Control
Officer verifies.

Does the work meet the agreed requirements for this milestone?

GO / Verified

Authorize payment.

The verified milestone can move forward under the agreed payment terms.

NO-GO / Not verified

Hold. Resolve. Recheck.

Address the issue and return for verification before the associated payment is released.

Illustrative explanation of the go/no-go model. Project-specific scopes, verification requirements, authorities, and payment terms must be documented for each engagement. This is not a guarantee of cost, schedule, or investment performance.

A model designed
to work with you.

Discuss your project
Do we need to work through Embrace Your Shine?

No. The Embrace Life Cottage Campus is one partnership configuration. The MicroLiving model can also be used by other entities, with responsibilities and services established for each project.

What does MicroLiving coordinate?

The approach connects development planning, general contracting coordination, construction management, execution partners, and quality checkpoints. The project scope determines the exact responsibilities.

How are milestone payments handled?

Under the go/no-go structure, payment release follows verification by the Quality Control Officer. Work that does not pass the checkpoint returns for resolution and another review before the associated payment is authorized.

Can the model start with a single site?

Yes. The scalable approach spans single units, multi-unit clusters, and community-scale programs. Suitability, scope, and project terms still need to be established for the particular site.
